At EXO Photography, every wedding we photograph tells a one-of-a-kind love story—and Amanda and Spencer’s wedding at Mansion at Oyster Bay was a true masterpiece of timeless elegance and heartfelt moments. Set in the rich ambiance of a classic estate and overflowing with stunning floral designs, their wedding was not only visually breathtaking, but deeply meaningful in every way.
From private vows to late-night cookies, their love and personalities shone through in every detail.
Amanda and Spencer’s wedding at Mansion at Oyster Bay was nothing short of magical. The historic charm of the venue, with its dark wood paneling, gilded mirrors, and romantic lighting, provided the perfect backdrop for their vision of classic, old-world elegance. From the moment guests arrived, the ambiance felt warm, intimate, and timeless—just like their love story.
Amanda and Spencer’s journey began in 2018 at Flynn’s Beach Bar in Fire Island. After a first date in NYC, their bond only deepened over shared meals, city strolls, and cherished family time. Fast forward to October 2023, Spencer proposed in Taormina, Sicily—a dreamy start to what would become an unforgettable wedding at Mansion at Oyster Bay.
Before the ceremony, Amanda and Spencer shared private vows—a quiet, heartfelt moment they both described as one of the most meaningful parts of the day. The ceremony took place under a full floral chuppah, brought to life by Joseph Campbell of Pedestals Floral Decorators.
The couple’s florals featured quicksand and white roses, orchids, minimal greenery, and soft candlelight. Crystal vases and floating candles adorned the space, with three tallit draped over the chuppah—honoring Amanda’s Bat Mitzvah and their fathers’ traditions.
Amanda was a vision in a Berta gown from SoHo, complete with a custom overskirt, matching veil, and Bella Belle shoes. Spencer brought classic sophistication in an Armani tuxedo, Ralph Lauren Purple Label shirt and accessories, Tiffany cufflinks, and a vintage Omega watch from the 1950s.
Every part of Amanda and Spencer’s wedding was personalized to reflect their lives and style. Levain Bakery cookies and NYC coffee cups were a nod to their favorite treats. Custom napkins and newspaper-style programs added a playful, modern twist to the cocktail hour. A “Generations of Love” table, showcasing wedding photos of family members, added a heartfelt connection to the past.
“Do it big! This is your day. If you want something specific, go for it and advocate for yourself. Everyone is there for you, so enjoy it and take it all in. It’s the longest but shortest day ever!”
