The Surf Club on the Sound, WEDDINGS

Daina and Justin didn’t have a romantic meeting at first, but their story gets better and better. They met in a bar with a few mutual friends and after about 30 minutes, some Piano man, and a little harmonica, they were hooked on each other.

The engagement was amazing. For Justin’s 30th birthday, Daina gave him a leather-bound journal in which she has detailed some of their most special moments. The journal said, “I love you more than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.” After giving him the journal, just six days later Justin gave her back the journal after writing his first entry. She cried and then read the last line that said, “she knows everything about me I wonder if she knows what’s next.” She looked up and he asked her to marry him.

Fast-forward and their wedding day was just as romantic. They really wanted this to be memorable and wanted to make sure they designed every little detail, down to the napkins too! They wanted the wedding to be modern and elegant, and chose colors to reflect that. With purple, gold, and silver the tones were light and fun and created the perfect atmosphere.

Daina’s special moment was when she sat at the table with her new husband and their wedding parties and looked around. “Take a step back… Look around and feel the overwhelming love and support of all of your family and friends there for you and celebrating your love.” Daina.

Their story, their perfect day, their fun and natural love was enough to make everyone leave with a smile on their faces. We hope that their love is strong and withholding for many years and we were honored that they let us capture their wedding as their Long Island wedding photographers.
