They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder and it’s more than true for Alyssa and Joseph.

There’s a special bond and patience in waiting for your loved one. Many things can cause a temporary separation- military, job relocation, and more- but the truth of the matter is that this separation is one of the most difficult things a couple can face.

In spite of the distance, Alyssa was waiting eagerly for Joseph’s return home from being deployed so they could share this special day, and many more, together hand in hand.

Their wedding was held at the Smithtown Landing Country Club and was an ideal location for these two. The soft waves of the water lapped quietly along the dock while Joseph waited patiently at the end until he got to turn around and have his first look at the bride. It’s these special moments, the ones that give us misty eyes, that cement these memories in our heads.

A day full of great weather, two people in love, a super fun wedding party, and a reception full of guests who loved Alyssa and Joseph was definitely worth the wait. We were honored to have these two choose us to be their Long Island videographers and capture these special memories for them. We wish them the very best as they finally start the life together that they have both been waiting for.
