Fate has a funny way of doing things. Like 7 years ago, when Seth walked into the hair salon Toni worked at and got a haircut. He didn’t get his cut from Toni but left with her number. A few years later, on Christmas morning, Toni found an engagement ring hanging on their tree like an ornament. Which is how we got here, Villa Russo, for their magical wedding day!
The beautiful couple started their big day at home. They got ready separately as it is bad luck to see each other before the wedding. Toni prepared with her mother and bridesmaids, all of which were pampered by Hairstories and Ashley Spedale. Seth suited up alongside his groomsmen, looking sharp in his Calvin Klein tuxedo.
When it came to finding Toni’s dress, she only went to one store. She tried on practically every dress they had but it was the first one she put on that truly stuck out to her.
Toni and Seth were married in the same church that Toni’s grandparents were married in. Since they are no longer with us, it was an incredibly touching moment and a great way to include those they’ve lost.
The couple exchanged vows and were legally and religiously married thanks to Father Heanue. Five days before the wedding, the church put up a lot of scaffolding outside the main entrance. Toni was really upset about this and felt it would cheapen the way the church looked. However, they chose to use the side entrance instead which worked perfectly (and no one even noticed the change!) The scaffolding actually benefitted everyone as it provided some shade on the hot summer day prior to the couple’s grand exit.
When it came time to party at Villa Russo, the Silverarrow Band stole the show. Guests were up and dancing the whole time! With around 120 guests, it was pretty easy to talk to (or dance) with everyone, something the bride and groom really loved.
If asked, Toni and Seth simply couldn’t pick a favorite moment of the day. However, they raved about their cake. It was from a Villa Russo and was “the most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had!”
The bride had some advice to share with future couples. “From one bride to another, the day goes by so fast so just enjoy it! Remember it’s about you and your husband, so don’t worry about what anyone else may be thinking. You do your best to plan for months, leave it to your pros to do the jobs you hired them for! Remember to mingle and share the special day with your guests who came to celebrate your joining, everlasting love. Trust that the universe has your back and roll with the punches, it’s going to be as great as you make it!”
“PS- re-apply your lipstick!”
Congrats to the beautiful couple! Have a blast on your honeymoon!
