The only way you could describe Samantha and Matt’s wedding at Giorgio’s Baiting Hollow is with joy. The day was colorful and bright, filled with happiness and love. From the moment we stepped onto this beautiful location, we knew it was going to be unforgettable.
These college sweethearts were supposed to be set up by a friend. However, their friend forgot to talk to Samantha about Matt. He also forgot to tell Matt, giving him the courage to ask her out. Talk about fate!
A few years later, the two bought a home together. Three years after that, Samantha planned a summer BBQ to celebrate their anniversary as homeowners. When she walked into what she thought was her party, she found Matt on one knee and all of her friends and family there to witness it.
In preparation for the big day, Samantha had to do one of the most important things, pick out a wedding dress! She fell in love with Grace Loves Lace and felt it was perfectly unique. She planned on putting all of her bridesmaids in something different, so each woman picked out their own nude-colored dress. As for Matt, he went with a grey suit and a bowtie for a classic look. All of his groomsmen matched.
As their wedding day arrived, the couple got ready in separate rooms. Samantha and her bridesmaids started off by toasting the day with some champagne in their robes. Considering this bride is a makeup artist, she knew exactly what she wanted and how she was going to do it, taking some stress out of the day. As for Matt and his groomsmen, they were having a great time getting suited up.
Once the pre-wedding jitters kicked in and the bride and groom were ready to embark on this new journey, everyone headed to the ceremony area. Samantha could not wait for her father to walk her down the aisle. It’s something she has been looking forward to for a very long time. When the time came, it was even better than she could have imagined.
She and Matt had also highly anticipated reciting their vows in which they wrote for one another. They were heartfelt and personal, leaving no one with a dry eye.
During the ceremony, Samantha and Matt left a seat open for Matt’s father whom very recently passed away. Yet, they knew he was there. “One of the highlights of our day was that a butterfly lingered near us during our photos and Nicole got the photo! I can’t explain the feeling but I know he was there! We felt it!”
Now that the bride and groom were officially husband and wife, it was time to celebrate. And these lovebirds certainly knew how to party! Everyone spent the night dancing, but especially the bride who couldn’t help herself from showing off her moves.
The reception was decorated impeccably. Each table had a rustic feel with gorgeous flowers and neutral table settings. What we loved most was the sunflowers! Samantha knew she had to incorporate them in her day once she met Jenny from Wildflower.
As the evening went on, guests enjoyed cake and other desserts from Samantha’s family’s pastry shop! Everything tasted as good as it looked!
We are so thrilled we had the chance to capture such an incredible day at Giorgio’s Baiting Hollow! Congratulations, Samantha and Matt, we wish you nothing but happiness in this lifetime!
Here’s some advice from the bride to leave you with. “Have fun it goes so fast! Look around the room and take it all in. All those people are there for you guys! Best feeling ever!”
