When we took Monika and Joseph’s engagement photos this past spring, we knew their wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club was going to be special.

Not to toot our own horn, but we were totally right! These two exude love and happiness with their contagious smiles and zest for life. We are so overjoyed that they chose us to capture all the unforgettable moments at their once-in-a-lifetime affair. 

Monika and Joseph met originally through friends. Coincidentally, they had been hanging out with the same group for 10 years but somehow never managed to cross paths. But, as fate would (finally) have it, they met at a bar for their friend’s birthday in Brooklyn. 

A few years later, Monika thought she was going to that same bar to celebrate her brother-in-law’s birthday. She went up to order drinks when she felt a tap on her shoulder. As she turned around she found Joseph on one knee, asking her to marry him. Everyone in the bar cheered for them, including both families that were already there awaiting the surprise. 

Monika and Joseph’s Bridgeview Yacht Club wedding was magnificent. They started off at their church where they both participated in religious traditions like sipping the wine. The bride and groom shared their heartfelt vows, put on one another’s wedding bands, and kissed “I do!” 

After they were officially married, they headed to Bridgeview Yacht Club where they, along with their friends and families, celebrated this wonderful day. Everyone had a blast. They were dancing, mingling, and of course, eating the delicious food. 

The wedding seemed to go by in a flash but not to worry because we did not miss a single moment on camera. You will have these photos to remember every second of your big day for the rest of your lives!
