If the term “magical” could be used outside of fairytales then this day was magical. There is often so much stress and worry when it comes to planning a wedding that it can really take away from the real and genuine magnitude of the day. This was not the case for Patrice and Chris.

Two law students off to a rocky start met the first day of class when they had to introduce each other. Chris called Patrice an “OWL”, and Older, Wiser, Law Student. Though not out of anger, Patrice felt the need to, shockingly, defend herself! Stating that she wasn’t “that” old.

She thought she had scared Chris off for good until a few months later when he got the nerve to talk to her again. This time? The good kind of sparks flew.

Time passed, they passed classes, and it was time for Chris to make his move. Planned with no loose ends, he took her to the law school courtyard where a hidden photographer waited in the wings to capture the perfect moment.

Their special day was held at the Chataeu Coindre Hall which made it all the more fairytale-like. The curving stairwells, tall windows, deep and moody colors in the hall made this such a stunning scene.

It was certainly a night to remember and we hope these two literally have the happily ever after they deserve. We were honored to be their chosen Long Island wedding photographers and to capture such a classic and elegant wedding, we wish Chris and Patrice a lifetime of happiness.
