Rich saw Randi around campus; running track before his rugby practice and at a Halloween party. He had a crush from afar, but didn’t introduce himself. He soon realized she was taken at the time. He forgot all about her, like any normal college guy would do.In September 2009, their paths crossed again when Rich was finishing up his last semester at Sacred Heart. A mutual friend of Rich and Randi’s was studying abroad, so as fate would have it, Rich moved into their friend’s college house for the next 6 months. They met while out one night with all of their mutual friends and began spending more and more time together.

On October 21st, 2009 – they made it “official” at Fairfield Beach where Rich asked Randi to be his girlfriend. Eventually, it all came full circle and Rich asked Randi to marry him at the exact same spot on May 30th, 2016.
