Stephanie and Matthew met through mutual friends while they were working in the restaurant industry. Hitting it off right away they continued dating for a while. A few years later, Matthew took Stephanie back to the special place where he first asked her to be his girlfriend and had a big surprise in store.

Next to the water near Matthew’s grandfather’s summer home out East he finally popped the question and asked Stephanie to be with him for the rest of their lives. She said yes, of course, and was pleasantly surprised!

The engagement spot they chose was the Old Bethpage Village Restoration because this place is very special to them. Stephanie’s father used to take her to the fair that was held there quite often and it was a warm place in her heart. They also chose this space because, well, it was beautiful! The cozy, colorful, and quaintly rustic location was amazing to photograph much less with an amazing couple to work with.

The lovely neutral tones in their clothing choices and the beautiful backdrops set up such a heartwarming shoot. We are eager to photograph these two again on their special day.
