As they say, all great friendships turn into great relationships. This remains true as Amanda and Rob, starting off as friends since middle school, tied the knot at Fox Hollow on November 16, 2018. The two had been dating for six and a half years when Rob popped the question in Niagara Falls.

When the couple exchanged vows, they added a wine box ceremony. The couple had bought a bottle of wine in Portugal which they then sealed in front of all their loved ones. Inside the box, the bride and groom also left love letters for one another. The box will be opened on their 5 year anniversary.

As another special moment, Amanda and Rob had their mothers deliver their rings for the ceremony.

The two were most anticipating the first look. After not spending the previous night together based on tradition, they couldn’t wait to see each other. They did their first look in front of their bridal party and family as well to see everyone’s reaction.

Amanda wore a classy, elegant gown with just enough sparkle, exactly how she envisioned it. She bought the dress in Florida at Laura Jacobs Bridal. Their ceremony at Fox Hollow was decorated with flowers from Flowers by Burton. The colors were ivory, white, and blush and all the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore black to keep with their simplistic theme.

If the newlyweds had to offer any advice to future brides and grooms, their main tip would be to enjoy the process. “Try to remember the whole reason you are doing this: because you love each other and want to be with one another forever.”
