Woodbury Country Club Wedding: Stacey & Mike

Some things are just meant to be. Stacey and Mike’s unintentional set up at The Inn in Long Beach is just one of those things. The two tied the knot at Woodbury Country Club in a gorgeous affair.

Stacey had waited for years for Mike to get down on one knee and when that day finally came, she was not suspecting it at all. They were in their apartment in NYC but Mike was sound asleep. So, Stacey thought for sure it wasn’t going to happen that day. But, Mike rose to the occasion, surprising everyone. The couple then met up with their closest friends at a brunch where they had planned to celebrate Mike’s birthday.

This wedding was all about the party! Not only were the bride and groom most excited about dancing with their band, but not a single guest could stop themselves from dancing.

While this wedding was black tie invited, Stacey and Mike wanted the wedding to be a party, not a formal dinner. They added special features such as a neon Terzuoli sign, a cutout and ice sculpture of their dog, Leo, and a customized game of cornhole.

The flowers all throughout Woodbury Country Club were very unique. Each had their own style with orchard details. Stacey wanted pops of pink and light purple but the orchard is what she loved the most. In addition, the chuppah was just as unique with bright colors that popped against the greenery.

Of course, we cannot forget about the stunning dress the bride wore. When Stacey went to pick out her dress, she only brought her mother along as she wanted it to be an intimate experience. She already knew the style she wanted so when she saw the dress of her dreams at RK Bridal, she had to have it. As for Mike, he wore a navy tux with black lapels and a black bowtie to the ceremony and changed into a white jacket for the party.

Stacey’s advice for future brides? “Enjoy every minute as it flies by.”
