We had such a fun morning with Emily and Brendan at Prime Steakhouse! Their engagement session was the perfect way to get to know them as well as their vision for the wedding. 

Emily and Brendan met back in college when Emily went to visit her best friend at SUNY Albany. Her friend happened to be dating Brendan’s roommate at the time. After a great visit, Emily ended up transferring to SUNY Albany her sophomore year. The two hit it off as friends and things got romantic senior year. They made it official after their college graduation in August 2016. 

After about four years of dating, Brendan was ready to pop the question on a trip to Montauk. The couple was supposed to meet up with their friends but conveniently, their friends were running late. Instead, Brendan and Emily went for a walk to the lighthouse.

On their walk, Emily and Brendan searched for some nice rocks. Which was when Brendan got down on one knee and expressed that he “found my rock.” 

Now engaged, Emily was surprised by both her and Brendan’s siblings waiting for them in a limo. The limo brought them all to Docker’s Waterside where she was surprised by even more family members and friends. They all celebrated the happy occasion! 

Brendan and Emily chose to do their engagement shoot at Prime Steakhouse because of the many dates they went on there. Additionally, Prime Steakhouse had the beachy look they were going for. Since their ceremony is by the beach and their reception is at Oceanbleu, they figured the aesthetic would go perfectly! 

Aside from their location, however, the couple did not have much of a plan for their engagement session. Instead, they left it up to us to pose them! It gave them a chance to see our style! 

“We enjoyed our experience getting to know Nicole and Josh. I wish we could have another one to keep getting to know them! I also got to understand how they work and take pictures.”
