Courtney and Domenick, who recently tied the knot at Harbor Club at Prime, met a few years ago working a sage party. But that was only the beginning for them. The couple dated for a while before Domenick got down on one knee in St. Marten.
As the story goes, one night on their tropical vacation, the pair had dinner overlooking the ocean. Once they were done with their romantic meal, they went for a walk and came across a bunch of rocks with a beautiful ocean view. It also happened to be the location of the couples massages so Courtney decided to lay down. Domenick looked over and saw her on her back so he asked her to stand up. As she stood, he kneeled. He pulled out a royal blue ring box only to open it, displaying a cushion-cut diamond ring.
This Harbor Club at Prime wedding didn’t necessarily have a theme but the flowers were very important to Courtney and Domenick. During their ceremony, they had a stunning birch tree archway with white roses and hydrangeas. Keeping it on trend, at their cocktail hour, the couple had birch tree vases with white and pink roses, greenery, and hydrangeas. The bridesmaids held bouquets with white and pink roses. Courtney’s bouquet was comprised of solely white roses. Even their cake had a birch tree with white flowers on it! All the floral arrangements were done by Pedestals and were absolutely breathtaking.
Now let’s talk fashion. Courtney found her dream wedding gown at Bridal Reflections. It was a simple white gown with a sweetheart neckline and a purple belt, very “Kate-Hudson-in-Bride-Wars-esque” if you ask us. She wore her hair half-up-half-down with a silver hair comb in the back. Her goal was simple and classy and she very much so achieved it. The groom, Domenick, wanted a sleek look so he chose a black tux and a black striped tie from Sal’s Tuxedos.
Of all the many things that happened throughout the affair at Harbor Club at Prime, the couple pinpointed a few favorites. For starters, as many couples do, they couldn’t wait for the first look. As another special moment, they loved having all their friends and family together, watching them kiss for the first time as husband and wife. Lastly, the couple had one of their favorite singer-songwriters, Nathan Angelo, perform with the band. It was a dream come true!
Here’s some advice from Courtney, “Enjoy every minute because it goes by so fast! Don’t stress, things will go wrong and that’s fine.”
