If we had to describe Sujata and Chris’s wedding at the Huntington Hilton in just one word, we would have to go with colorful. Their traditional wedding was a change in pace for us seeing as though we’re very used to brides in white dresses with a 1-3 color scheme. However, this wedding was far from ordinary. Filled with lots of color, love, and tradition, Sujata and Chris’s MANY guests had the time of their lives.
The day started with Sujata getting ready with her closest friends and family. She had a makeup artist who brought out her incredible cheekbones and completed the look with a neutral eye and a daring red lip. From there, she put on a red and gold saree, looking like a princess. Now, she was ready to go see her groom.
These lovebirds participated in a very traditional wedding in which they sat under a beautifully decorated mandap. Their mothers both played a role in the ceremony as well. It was an impeccable combination of two families and cultures into one.
Once the ceremony was over, everyone partied! Considering how many guests there were, the was never a dull moment. Everyone was either dancing or mingling on the Huntington Hilton dance floor.
Sujata later changed into a fantastic orange gown, making her stand out from every person in the room, as she should. Chris changed from his outfit into a dashing black suit as well. The two looked jaw-dropping together and their love was palpable. When they locked eyes and kissed during their first dance, we had goosebumps!
We are so glad we had the chance to be at such a fun and lively wedding! Congratulations, Sujata and Chris! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
