“It’s not only the beautiful union of two people, it’s the blending of two families. “ Christain’s best man said it perfectly when describing Janice and Christian’s wedding at Lombardi’s on the Bay.
It was hard not to shed a tear during Janice and Christian’s very personal ceremony. It took place on the beach, right by the water. They wrote their own vows not only to one another, but to each other’s children. It was unbelievably heartwarming. See for yourself in their wedding video.
Since their summer wedding was on July 4th, Janice wanted to keep some key pieces that related to the holiday. Her version of red, white, and blue was coral (her favorite color), ivory, and navy. She had her bridesmaids wear coral dresses and included all the aforementioned colors in their flowers, centerpieces, and cake. Each bouquet was coral, peach, ivory, and a little bit of blue.
Janice was dressed in a white gown with a lace overlay and lace caps. She wore her hair down and to the side with a jaw-dropping veil and her makeup was as perfect as the rest of the ensemble.
The reception was stunning, consistent with the ceremony. Guests were dancing all night long but MVP of the evening goes to the kids. They had happy feet! And there was not a dry eye in the building when the bride and groom danced with their children. It was a beautiful evening.
At the end of the night, Janice and Christian had a sparkler send off, uniform with their July 4th theme. Guests lined up on either side of the bride and groom and made an arch of sparklers. It was so much fun! Look for yourself!
Janice had some advice to offer for future brides, “try not to leave anything for the last minute!” We agree! Make sure everything is all planned out before the big day, you want to be carefree on your wedding day.
We wish the couple a lifetime of health and happiness. Your Lombardi’s on the Bay wedding was everything and more! Make sure to check out their wedding video here!
