Going to the Chapel

Can you believe our couple met on a blind date? The two were set up by mutual friends- they actually went to high school together but they didn’t know each other then! Sirena and Austin have an annual 4th of July friends barbeque. Sirena had zero suspicions because to her it was just another gathering with friends. Austin sang “Going to the chapel” the whole drive over and she thought he had officially lost his mind! He popped the question as soon as they got to the party because he was so nervous, then the celebration began. Sirena told us that he didn’t know where to keep the ring so he left it in his car for three weeks!! These two had their beautiful wedding in the spring at Stonebridge Country Club on Long Island.

A combination of lace and Monique Lhuillier was what Sirena envisioned for the big day. She thought the sweetheart neckline flattered her collarbone and the intricate lace was absolutely stunning! The groom wanted a bright blue color. The bride said its because he looks good in blue and he knows it! He had a blue tuxedo and the groomsmen matched in the suit version.

Our bride says she wasn’t really nervous the day of the wedding because they had already been married for a year. She was VERY excited, although the only time she felt nervous was walking down the aisle with everyone watching (we totally get it!). Sirena said the most special moment was just being with Austin.

Sirena did a ton to personalize this wedding. The theme was Chinese colors, red and gold. They had a tea ceremony and she was able to wear her mother’s traditional “Qipao” which is the red dress she got married in. Her mom wore it 36 years ago! Our bride said this was really special to her and she was very excited to wear two dresses! She also had a flower wall as a sweetheart table backdrop with a neon sign that said “The Wolfsons”. We absolutely ADORED this set up, everything at the Stonebridge Country Club looked spectacular!
