In 1918, Dominic Ruttura began his company, Ruttura & Sons Construction Co., specializing as a sidewalk and curb contractor in Freeport. 100 years later and they’re still in business, which calls for a celebration! The festivities took place at Crestwood Country Day Camp where guests could utilize the entire camp including the pool and waterslide. They completed the day with a delicious barbeque.
Dominic Ruttura’s philosophy goes as so, “an honest price for an honest day’s work. His promise was as good as his work; his work as good as his promise.” For a company with such integrity, it’s quite obvious why they’re still around!
For this very special occasion, they even had a custom truck made! Look how cool! All the families had the chance to take a picture in front of it.
With four generations of fathers, sons, and daughters, you can assume this party was jam-packed. Many families gathered at Crestwood Country Day Camp for a really fun day. People of all ages got to try the trampoline and zipline. It was incredible!
Here’s to 100 more years!
