Just a few months ago, we had the absolute pleasure of taking Dana and Robert’s engagement session photos! This couple is so wonderful, we had such a fun day with them!

Dana and Robert knew they wanted a fall scene for their engagement photos so we decided to shoot all around the fall foliage. In a lot of cases, its easiest (and prettiest!) to just pick a spot and have the nature speak for itself. No need for elaborate backdrops! 

In order to keep a solid color scheme, both Dana and Robert stuck with neutral-colored attire. As for Dana, she donned a long-sleeve black mini dress with a brown belt and a matching pair of tall brown boots. Robert wore a grey long-sleeve button-up with a pair of blue jeans and a grey pair of shoes. 

It is super important to make sure you and your fiance for your engagement session. You don’t want your outfit to clash! Not sure what to wear? We are more than happy to give you some guidelines! Feel free to ask! In addition, if you’re not sure of a place to take your photos, ask us! We have done so many beautiful shoots in varying locations, we have plenty of options to offer. From beaches, to parks, to old abandoned buildings, we have you covered! 

We walked all around the area taking photos of Dana and Robert against trees, holding one another, and in one shot, Robert picked up his soon-to-be-bride and kissed her. Check it out! 

During their shoot, not only did Dana switch into a grey, turtle-neck sweater dress, but they brought in their adorable baby boy! He matched his mommy and daddy in a quarter-zip grey sweater and some cargo pants. Our heart was melting over this family photo! 

We had such a great day with Dana, Robert, and their son, and we simply cannot wait for the wedding!
