A little over a year ago, we had the pleasure of taking Christina and Michael’s engagement photos in Brooklyn. Now, we are following on their wedding journey to their big day at Harbor Club at Prime! 

The beautiful couple met years ago while working at Target. They became best friends really quickly. Right before Christina left for college, Mike expressed how he felt about her. However, she told him she did not want anything serious while she was away and she was worried it would ruin their friendship. 

Well, Mike waited until Christina graduated from college to ask her on a date. He told her that if she didn’t have fun, they would never do it again and they wouldn’t let it come between their friendship. As you may have assumed, they had a great time and never stopped dating! Talk about a love story for the ages! They met in 2009 and started dating in 2012. 

From 2014 to 2018, Mike and Christina were doing long distance as Mike was working in New York and Christina was working at Disney in Florida. In 2018, Christina planned a trip home to New York so they could make their annual trip to the Museum of Natural History’s butterfly exhibit. While in the butterfly house, Christina’s two-year-old nephew (and ring bearer) walked in with a ring box and gave it to Mike. Mike got down on one knee and asked Christina the big question! Much to Christina’s surprise, both of their families were watching through the glass! 

Now, two years later, Christina and Mike vowed to love one another in St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in front of all their loved ones. Christina wore a stunning mermaid style gown while Mike donned a navy blue suit with black lapels. 

After officially being pronounced as husband and wife, Christina, Mike, and all their guests went to Harbor Club at Prime to celebrate in style. Everyone danced, laughed, and filled the room with love. It was a truly gorgeous occasion and we are so glad we were there to capture every second of it! 

Congratulations, Christina and Mike! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
