These college sweethearts officially got hitched! Lisa and Justin met back in college at Syracuse University. Years later, Justin proposed to Lisa in Venice, Italy on a family trip. Just 12 months later, here we are, at the Harbor Club at Prime celebrating their marriage!
On the morning of their wedding, Lisa and her bridesmaids got ready together in customized robes. It’s always fun prepping for the big day with your most favorite people in the world! Who else would you want beside you as you take this big step in life? The same goes for Justin who got ready alongside his groomsmen. We love how pictures come out at this time too. It’s awesome to see the progression of the day!
As everyone finished getting ready, they put on their gowns and tuxes and made their way to the ceremony at Harbor Club at Prime.
Justin stood at the end of the aisle waiting for his bride. Lisa was walked down the rose-covered aisle by her brother as her father is no longer with us. However, the bride’s mother made her two lockets that were wrapped around the bouquet with her father and grandfather’s pictures on them. It was a wonderful way to include them in her wedding day.
The theme of this wedding was red! There was red everything! The bride wore white shoes with red bottoms to match her bridesmaids’ dresses. Lisa’s bouquet, with red and pink roses, was designed to match their dresses as well. In contrast, the bridesmaids held pink and white flowers to match the bride.
Justin donned a red boutonniere while his groomsmen pinned pink ones to their jackets. All of the other flowers at the event were different shades of red as well.
During the ceremony, the aisle was covered in red and pink rose petals. The arch they stood under was filled with red and pink roses and a bit of greenery. Even the floral arrangements on the side of the chairs at the ceremony had red, pink, and white roses! Do you think we said red enough? What can we say, it’s the color of love!
During the reception, Lisa and Justin danced their first dance as a married couple, something they were really looking forward to. Guests crowded the dance floor and photo booth all night long. Lisa designed a basket of flip flops for all those guests in heels to dance in. People loved it! It’s a smart way to get all the heel-wearers on the dance floor.
Lisa had some short and sweet advice to give to future brides. “Only thing that matters is the guy standing up front!” She is 100% correct! When it comes down to it, you two are the only things that matter on this very special day.
Congratulations on your Harbor Club at Prime wedding, Lisa and Justin! What a fantastic day!
