Planting Fields Arboretum Engagement: Jessica and Jason

In places like this, your senses come alive. That’s why we love when couples choose to have their engagement session at the beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum.
The Long Island Public Arboretum is a hugely historic site. Not only that but filled with greenhouses, gardens, woodland paths, and outstanding plant collections, this is an ideal place for photos, picnics, educational trips, and just a nice walk with the family.
Jessica and Jason seemed right at home here amongst the brick historical sites, neighbored by the beautiful gardens. The old buildings and the weathered bricks offer a bit of drama with such a dense green backdrop. These two were natural and so easy to place and photograph because they were only focused on each other.
During our day at the Long Island Arboretum, we had Jessica and Jason jumping, carrying one another, kissing, throwing leaves and so much more. This made their images both fun and natural. You only get a glimpse of how much they were enjoying themselves through their photos.
There are many changes ahead for these two amazing people and we felt so lucky to get the chance to capture the first steps in their life together. We are so excited to see where life takes them and watch their love blossom and bloom like the gardens they were first photographed in. We look forward to photographing your wedding.
