Our engagement session with Joanne and Neysi at Planting Fields Arboretum began with gorgeous weather and ended with a bit of rain for good luck!

Let’s start off with how great this location was! Joanne and Neysi certainly knew what they were doing when they picked Planting Fields Arboretum. Walking around these fields makes you feel like you are in a fairytale with giant willow trees and beautiful low-hanging branches. We are so lucky we had the chance to come back here with this amazing couple! 

For their session, Joanne wore a button-up, short-sleeve navy blue shirt with white specks and the sleeves slightly rolled. She matched the shirt with a pair of white pants, a white watch, and brown boat shoes. She also wore her hair in a top-knot. As for Neysi, she wore a long, high-low, pink dress with flowers on it. She added a pair of tan sandals and wore her hair down and straight to complete the look. 

During our day together, we had the couple roam around Planting Fields Arboretum, making the pictures look as natural and organic as their love. They walked, hand-in-hand, through the stunning archway covered in greenery. It was a perfect backdrop since it was one solid color but still had so much detail. Later, they took some time sitting on the steps and posing for a couple more photos. 

As the rain started to come down, Joanne and Neysi popped open a clear umbrella to protect themselves. It ended up being an awesome prop that created timeless pictures. Eventually, though, they ditched the umbrella for some incredible shots in the rain. Just see for yourself how cool they turned out!
