After meeting several years ago and through a turn of events dating for five solid years, Jennifer thought that Dominic would never pop the question.

She began to grow impatient and starting dropping “subtle” hints saying, “No more presents. Save your money for the REAL present.” Subtle, right? As their five year anniversary approached he showed up and they went out to celebrate together. Instead of leaving right away be approached with a small box that appeared to be a necklace box. Jennifer soon thought, “Oh, just another piece of jewelry,” but she was so wrong.

Instead, she opened it to find a wallet. Now confused, she was trying hard to come up with a clever joke to make when she looked up to find him down on one knee asking the question she had been longing for!

From that moment forward, their lives together started. The wedding day was personalized by these two in a lot of ways. From their clever hashtag “a pig tale” to the table cards and to the charitable plan they had in mind. It was truly special. On each table was a movie ticket instead of a number, movie candy as a favor, and a donation to Camp Anchor Drama Program which is very close to both of their hearts.

Every detail was meaningful and special and most times the grooms don’t get in on the planning, but Dominic had only a few special requests. One of them was where the tuxedo came from. Since he has gotten his tuxes from Feldmans for both of his high school proms, he liked the nostalgic idea of getting a final tux there for his wedding.

These two were extremely fun to work with and every idea they had for this special day warmed the hearts of the guests and beyond. We were honored to be their chosen Long Island photographers and hope that through their generosity for others and love for each other that they bring more happiness into this world.
