There are certain memories we want to last forever and your wedding is a no-brainer. With all of the planning and the scheduling, you want to be sure you choose a photographer that will capture every special moment of your big day.
With all of the decisions that the bride and groom have to make when they are getting ready for their big day, which photos you want in your future wedding album should be an easy choice. There are tons of images that will come out of your wedding day but we will be sure to provide you with the top ten photo moments to include for your wedding album.
This is one of our personal favorite parts of the wedding. Capturing all those getting ready moments and details.
When the bride and groom are getting ready, you get the chance to see some of the fun before the nerves start to sink in. They are laughing with their wedding parties and their parents as the hair and makeup artists pamper everyone. We also really love the moments during this time when the parents see the bride or groom for the first time in their tux and dress.
This is one of the best memories you will have to keep after your big day. It all seems to happen so fast and so slowly at the same time.
We love capturing the trip down the aisle from both sides. We love taking images from the front and watching the bride’s eyes light up as she focuses on reaching that altar to her groom. Likewise, we love taking photos from behind the bride to get the groom’s reaction. Sometimes it’s tears, sometimes cheers, and sometimes it’s just a huge smile.
Capturing the moment, “You may kiss the bride,” is one that will stick with everyone there. It’s the final moment of two separate lives becoming one together.
This moment is something you will reenact for days long after you wedding day, but it will never be quite as special as sealing those vows with a kiss. That’s why it’s so important for us to include the photo in your album. There’s always a sense of urgency and anticipation until that final moment when you can kiss for the first time as husband and wife.
There will be tons of opportunities where the bride and groom will be smiling with, laughing with, and hugging numerous people, but the photos of the bride and groom alone are some of our favorites. There are no distractions for the couple and they get to just be together for these photos.
It’s always special to see it sink in as they hold each other a little tighter. It’s one of the rare moments of the wedding day when the bride and groom get to be alone together.
These are some of the most fun photos that are taken during the day. It’s so fun to see the bride and groom with their closest friends and family members all together having fun. They make jokes, laugh a silly moments, and have a way of making light of the pictures. They are all so excited for the bride and groom that it’s nearly impossible to keep a straight face while we photograph the bridal party.
Family photos will be some of the most cherished. The bride and groom will have plenty of photos to look at but this one includes all of the most important people in the bride’s life at that moment. This is always a must add to the album, your family was there since you were born, and don’t forget throughout the wedding planning process.
This photo is important in most of the same ways as the bride’s family photo. You families were there for you and helped you in many ways. Add a few combinations to honor your family.
One of the obvious shots that everyone loves is the first dance. It’s a two or three minute period where the bride and groom share their first dance together as a married couple.
It’s intimate, special, and almost always a tear-jerker. They hold each other a little tighter, laugh into each other’s ear, and get a chance to ignore the rest of the guests and focus on one another.
Maybe the second most fun photo to capture is the cake cutting. It’s unpredictable knowing that the bride or the groom might be ready to smash the cake into the others’ face and everyone will be watching.
We love how the bride and groom are at this point in the night. They have loosened up and gotten most of the posed photos done with and are ready to let loose, eat, drink, and dance.
This is one moment that not all photographers do but is definitely a wedding favorite. We really enjoy spending time with the bride and groom away from the reception for a few minutes and taking some late evening and night photos.
No matter the location, we love capturing the lights near the venue and bring out our sparklers for unforgettable photos and experience.
