When they use the phrase, “sparks fly,” they usually don’t mean it literally but sparks were flying on Independence Day when James asked Desiree to stick around forever.

It was a sweet and completely innocent meeting when these two first bumped into each other and they have seen sparks ever since. Desiree was eating with girlfriends and happened to spot the lonely James at the bar who was grabbing a bite to eat. Well, needless to say, he didn’t eat alone much after that.

These two had their wedding and reception at the Verace Italian Restaurant in Islip, New York and the day was beautiful. When asked what her favorite part was, she recalls, “All of it, but especially the ceremony.”

“The whole party was stunning and the moments that we captured are memories that no one will forget.”Desiree shared with us that the only thing she would change from her wedding was getting to dance with her new husband a little bit longer. We wish both James and Desiree the happiest of lives together.
