Since they met working at Prime, a restaurant located on Huntington Harbor,  Coindre Hall was the perfect choice for Amanda & Matt’s engagement photo session. Long boardwalks, the wind in their hair, golden hour. How could you not believe in love, after looking at this couple?

The two worked at Prime for years and were friends for a while until things changed. Amanda says she always had her eye on him!

Before the engagement, Matt told Amanda they’d be heading out to Montauk. His boss didn’t need the hotel room and didn’t want it to go to waste. The room wasn’t ready when they arrived and Matt insisted they wait. Although Amanda wanted to head into town, she agreed to wait. When they finally got to the room, Matt asked the concierge to take a photo of them on the balcony. As the photo was taken, he knelt down on one knee and asked Amanda to be his forever.

The couple ultimately decided on Coindre Hall for the shoot location. The venue is a medieval-style mansion, with French-inspired decor, sitting right on the harbour. The couple leads with a “go with the flow” attitude and did not have an elaborate plan for the session. Although it was a bit chilly out, the photos came out better than they hoped!
