We are absolutely in love with Deirdre and Pete’s wedding! Their vision of a classic, romantic celebration finally came to light at the Woodside Club in Syosset, New York, where they got to spend a gorgeous September day with their family and friends. What more could you want when celebrating your love and marriage?
Both the bride and groom were overwhelmed with happiness once they saw each other on their wedding day. And it’s clear to see why — they both looked amazing! Dee’s dress was clean-cut and sleek in the front. The back was the real show stopper, with a full-lace and illusion back ensemble AND a cathedral train. She completed the look with to-die-for Christian Louboutin’s, a fingertip length veil and a touch of jewelry.
Pete opted for a classic black tux with a cummerbund. To spice it up, he wore American flag suspenders. Their unique touches elevated their wedding aesthetic and showcased their bubbling personalities!
This perfect duo met while working together on a construction project and have not looked back since. Dee was absolutely shocked when Pete dropped down on one knee as they were heading to one of their favorite places to eat!
Dee and Pete’s wedding was all about the details. While most of the décor was flowers and candles, the sweetheart table was a DIY project with the couples own greenery and candles. Dee wanted to stick to the Woodside Club’s ballroom colors and went for a champagne and pink color palette.
Given this vibe, the bridesmaids selected their own style and color dress within the champagne and pink family. To complete the look, the groomsmen sported classic black and white tuxedos. Dee and Pete were surrounded by their 50 closest friends and family members and although it was not the day they initially planned, it was a day out of a fairytale!
The bride and groom were able to utilize the stunning outdoor grasslands, the exquisite outdoor patio and the elegant indoor space at Woodside Club for their special day. They and their guests were able to dance the night away and celebrate the beautiful couple!
The bride and groom said the best part of their wedding day was when they both saw each other dressed up for the first time. Their wedding day was long-anticipated, since the big day was originally scheduled for March 2020. The waiting made it that much more special when they were finally able to say “I do!”
Congratulations to the gorgeous newlyweds! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!
