The Mansion at Oyster Bay Wedding: Jillian & Chris

It feels like just yesterday we were taking Jillian and Chris’s engagement photos at Planting Fields Arboretum. Yet, here we are, on their wedding day at The Mansion of Oyster Bay!

Jillian started her day in an adorable pair of white monogrammed pajamas. She had both her hair and makeup done in the bridal suite. Just before she was all ready to go, she put on her Augusta Jones wedding gown. But, she added an extra sentimental touch to it. Jillian had a piece of blue fabric from her grandmother’s clothing stitched onto the inside of her dress. It symbolizes “something blue to remember you.”

While Jillian was getting into her gown, Chris was putting on his navy blue suit with blue lapels. His groomsmen wore black so the navy really helped him stand out. His groomsmen’s sleek black suits also made the bridesmaids in burgundy pop! When they walked down the aisle together everything matched seamlessly.

Speaking of walking down the aisle, this gorgeous couple had a very interesting ceremony. It brought together two different religions as one is Jewish and the other is Catholic. Jillian and Chris stood under a stunning floral chuppah as both a rabbi and a priest officiated the union. It was something we have not seen before but it was absolutely incredible! Not only did it blend the two families into one, but blended their cultures as well.

Once the two families were combined into one, everyone headed to the ballroom at The Mansion at Oyster Bay for an evening they will never forget. Guests crowded the dance floor as Jillian and Chris entered the room for the first time as husband and wife. From there, they danced their first dance and welcomed everyone to join them.

The night went along without a hitch. Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating the love between this beautiful couple. We are so glad we had the opportunity to witness it and, even better, capture all the unforgettable moments!
